car hire in Calgary: cars with trailer hitch?
Eh! I'm from Germany and I'm going to Canada and Calgary next year where I want travel about 4 friends in tow of my uncle. The only problem is to find a car with a towbar … ve i 'still looking around for few days, but so far I could not find a car rental cars equppied offering a hitch. It would be great if someone could give me some advice where i can get the cars with a hitch! thx for all efforts and Merry Christmas 2 U ALL!
I do not know how things are done in Germany, but in North America, agencies hire will not let you tow trailers with their cars. In fact, there is usually a provision in the lease prohibiting towing another vehicle. If you can afford it, try to shop around some local auto dealers to find a suitable towing vehicle (used car or pickup) and then agree with the distributor for a short lease term.
